Feb 27th, 2009 | By Spike | Category: From the desk of Ottis MooreApril 25th will be Opening Day for mini-Bark Park and the FIVE year anniversary celebration of the Thrift Store. The 6 foot wooden fence enclosing the half acre+ will allow Thrift Store shoppers to bring their dog/s for exercise and socializing. Feel free to come before opening. Would appreciate any suggestions or ideas on dog friendly landscaping! We have worked diligently for months removing tons of glass, metal, brush and trash. Think the dogs will like and hopefully you will too!
Also, April 10 will be planting date for our our large community garden which is next to the enclosed mini Bark Park. We’ll have nearly 900 vegetable seedlings to re-home. Bring your gloves and knee pads that day or anytime you can help Mother Nature work her magic.
Also, please remember the TS Van will pick up large items daily including working appliances. So keep your antenna up for neighbors, friends etc that are moving, downsizing, re-modeling, splitting up or have passed away. Tax deductible receipts gratefully provided! Cheers! Ottis
