March 29 - Adoption news from Ottis

Mar 29th, 2009 | By Spike | Category: Foster & Adoption Happenings

Over the past two weekends, we have gotten 14 puppies adopted from four different litters. Puppy season has not even started yet and we still have more available. We also have one special needs chocolate lab puppy.

Wonderful, housebroken, spayed and totally vetted, sweet chocolate gal. Looking for a special home.

Olivia has a small hole in her diaphragm. When active she mildly wheezes. If asleep or still, Olivia doesn’t wheeze as her insides cover the small hole! Vet says condition doesn’t require surgery now but can be done if future warrants.

I rescued the litter on 2-24 from Bartow Animal Control via Etowah Valley Humane. Olivia and her siblings suffered from a lack of Vitamin D & exercise thus legs were bowed. Now rest have been adopted and her legs are near perfect. Please contact me or forward to anyone that might like an active, beautiful girl with a small wheezing imperfection. 770-548-1453 Ottis-Cherokee Humane.
