President - Irene Moore -
BS in Communications1974; Master’s Degree 2002; Marketing Director for UPS Capital; CCHS member since 1979; handled CCHS hotline from 1984-1996; participated in numerous fund raisers including CCHS 1996 Olympic Team in food service; CCHS President 2007, 2008; designed CCHS logo; help with adoptions and rescue placements since 1979.

Vice President - James Duplantis
Bachelors in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University, 2003; Senior Technical Recruiter for iSymetry; CCHS Adoption Manager for 3 + years; CCHS Vice-President and Board Chairman 2007 and 2008.

Secretary - Bonnie Craig
Accountant at Williamson & Sneed, Inc., investment management firm for 20 years, now retired; began volunteering for CCHS in 2008 working at CCHS Thrift Store, fostering, and assisting with animal adoptions; currently serving as Administrative Assistant to store manager/adoption manager. Grew up all over the world as daughter of career military parent; graduated from high school in England; married for 39 years, one son.

Treasurer - Nancy Gayler
BS in Accounting 1971; CPA, EA; Controller and Financial Manager with The Coca-Cola Company for 24 years (now retired); CCHS Treasurer 2002-2004 and 2007, 2008; CCHS Chairman of Board 2004; bi-weekly volunteer at CCHS off-site adoptions; active CCHS foster home. Assisted with opening of 2004 Thrift Store, 2003 CCHS Golf Tournament, and 2002 CCHS yard sale. Member of ASPCA, Atlanta Humane, and WW Fund; companion to 11 dogs and 2 cats.

1-Year - Lynn Jeremiss
Native Georgian; graduated from GA Southern University with BS.ED, MED and Ed.S; teacher for 26 years, 11 years at E. T. Booth; in 2007, along with Jr. Leadership classes and club students, organized fundraiser for CCHS netting $1,200; currently involved in a second school fund raiser as a year-long project to help raise additional funds for CCHS; share my life with three dogs, Charlie, Lucy and Peanut; would be privileged to serve on CCHS board to give back to those who have enriched my life and to assist those that are not as fortunate as my three companions..

1-Year - Andy Kirkendall
Registered Nurse since 1992; clinical corporate trainer with AMERIGROUP Community Care; charge nurse, inpatient and home health psychiatric nurse; assessment counseling; 35 years of public speaking; taught anger management classes; motivational and professional keynote speaker; excellent communications skills; board certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse; married to wife Kay since 1976; 2 married children and one granddaughter.

2-Year - Corliss Schwaller
Graduate of universities in GA and Ohio; hold education leadership certificate with GA and Ohio Departments of Education; teaching certificates for elementary and middle grades, Special Education, and ESOL; volunteer for 8 years with various CCHS fund raising events, Tom Cat and CARE spay/neuter clinics; active animal foster home Companion to 10 cats, 2 dogs (all adopted) and a 23- year-old fish. My goal as a member of the board is to give a voice to all animals, especially those who have been abandoned, abused or neglected.

2-Year - Fran Ellison
Kindergarten teacher for 23 years; CCHS volunteer since 1996; Foster/Rescue Co-Chair; instrumental in getting 50 animals adopted through yearly pet adoptions at school; transport of animals to foster homes or rescue organizations throughout the Southeast; instrumental in removing 600 animals from the Cherokee County Animal Shelter in 2002, created the lowest euthanasia rate in the Atlanta area. GOALS: keep CCHS Board of Directors and the community focused on the importance and the needs of Foster/Rescue and Spay/Neuter programs; continue to assist the CCAS staff in working for the welfare of the animals.

2-Year - Lynn Oglesby
BA in telecommunications from University of GA; MBA Mercer University; CCHS board member for 5 years; Co-Chair of 2002 Tennis Tournament & 2002 Golf Tournament; assisted with 2002 Gala recognizing volunteers and sponsors; Chair of 2003 Golf Tournament; active participant in Flowers For Pets campaign and all CCHS fund-raisers; CCHS Thrift Store volunteer; companion to 4 dogs and 1 cat – 3 rescues and 1 foster.

3-Year - Nancy Westbury
CC Shelter volunteer 1992 & 1995; worked with shelter dogs in learning to trust people again with one-on-one attention; PetsMart employee where I also try to educate customers in the need for spay and neuter; companion to two rescued Shelties and 4 rescued cats.
