Irene Moore

BS in Communications 1974; Master’s Degree KSU-2002; Marketing Director
for UPS Capital; CCHS member since 1979; handled CCHS hotline from
1984-1996, key member of CCHS 96 Olympic 10 Day Team where volunteers
worked in Olympic Food Service and pay went to CCHS; designed CCHS logo;
ran multiple adoptions, feline and canine rescue placements for 25
years.
James Duplantis –

Business Administration from Kennesaw State University: 2003. Senior
Technical Recruiter for iSymetry. CCHS Adoption Manager for 2 years.
Avid animal lover committed to increasing awareness related to animal
cruelty and over population.
Jennifer Ennerberg - Secretary
Public Defender with Cherokee Judicial Circuit; previously served as
board member and volunteer with Heart of Georgia Humane Society for 2
years while residing in Macon, GA; on-site adoption volunteer, foster
home, home visits, and dealt with local law enforcement and shelter
personnel; volunteer with the San Diego Humane society for several
years; CCHS Vice-President 2006; along with husband, companion to 5
dogs, all adopted in Macon.
Dale Menko
- Treasurer
Originally from Pennsylvania, attended the
University of Miami - Marine Business Degree. Relocated to Atlanta to
work for the 3rd largest ocean carrier in the world as a project
manager. With the company, lived in London, New Delhi, Sydney, Newark,
and Norfolk. Been involved with Doggie U and Foster/Rescue for about 8
months. Resident of Canton with fiancé Alicia, and three dogs,
Abbey, Jax, and Spry. They also have 3 fosters dogs, as well.
Fran Ellison - Two Year Board Seat
Kindergarten teacher for 18 years; CCHS volunteer since 1996;
Foster/Rescue Co-Chair; instrumental in getting 50 animals adopted
through yearly pet adoptions at school; transport of animals to foster
homes or rescue organizations throughout the Southeast; instrumental in
removing 600 animals from the Cherokee County Animal Shelter in 2002,
creating the lowest euthanasia rate in the Atlanta area. GOALS: keeping
the Board of Directors and the community focused on the importance and
the needs of Foster/Rescue and Spay/Neuter programs and continuing to
assist the CCAS staff in working for the welfare of the animals.
Nancy Gayler – Two Year Board Seat
BS in Accounting 1971; CPA since 1996; Controller and Financial Manager
with The Coca-Cola Company for 24 years; CCHS Treasurer 2002-2004; CCHS
Chairman of Board 2004; bi-weekly volunteer at CCHS off-site adoptions;
active CCHS foster home. Assisted with opening of 2004 Thrift Store,
2003 CCHS Golf Tournament, and with 2002 CCHS yard sale. Member of ASPCA,
Atlanta Humane, and WW Fund. Provide companionship and a loving home to
9 dogs (6 shelter dogs), 2 cats, and multiple fish.
Lynn Oglesby - 2 Year Board Seat
BA in telecommunications from University of GA; MBA Mercer University;
current CCHS Secretary; Co-Chair of 2002 Tennis Tournament; Co-Chair of
2002 Golf Tournament; assisted with 2002 Gala recognizing volunteers and
sponsors; Chair of 2003 Golf Tournament; active participant in Flowers
For Pets campaign and all CCHS fund-raisers; current foster home and
companion to 3 dogs: 2 rescues and 1 foster. GOALS: help make CC animal
shelter no-kill; help with community education on the importance of pet
sterilization.
Mike Schwaller - One Year Board Seat
1973 graduate of UGA; transferred around country with NAPA;
1999 moved back to Cherokee County permanently as VP for Citigroup
Leasing; currently VP of Sales for ClearPlus Windshield Products;
licensed insurance agent; volunteered at CCHS Tomcat Clinics and yard
sales; current volunteer at CARE clinics; companion to 7 cats, 6 of them
adopted.
Kirsten Kern - One Year

10-year resident of Cherokee County; Sixes Elementary CCHS Fundraise
CCHS foster parent and full time companion to Maila, Hali, and Anni.
Nancy Westbury - Three
Year Board Seat
CC
Shelter volunteer 1992 & 1995; worked with shelter dogs in learning to
trust people again with one-on-one attention; PetsMart employee involved
in customer education regarding the need for spay and neuter; companion
to two rescued Shelties and 4 rescued cats.
Jeneanne Organ -
Operations Manager
Began volunteering for CCHS in early 1998. Elected CCHS Corresponding
Secretary in May of 2001. Appointed Spay/Neuter Coordinator in May of
2002. Resigned from CCHS Board in July of 2002 to become CCHS Operations
Manager.
CCHS Operations Manager November 2002 – present. Appointed CCHS
Parliamentarian in January of 2003.
Roxanne Rutledge -
Administrator
New
to CCHS since April of 2006, she oversees Web Site, publicity and
marketing efforts of CCHS. Resident of Hickory Flat for 18 years,
semi-retired business professional. She and her husband, Keith, recently
adopted their present dog, Sophie.
