CCHS SNAP. Spay and Neuter Assistance Program

The most important thing you can do for your pet is spay and neuter them. Altered pets live longer happier lives and keep unwanted puppies and kittens off the streets and out of our shelter system. For that reason, we offer a low-cost spay and neuter programs for puppies, kittens, cats and dogs. If you meet certain qualifications, then the voucher may be available at no charge. To apply you must be on one of the following government programs. Or, you can volunteer at our Thrift Store, or at one of our many weekend adoptions.

  • WIC card
  • EBT card
  • SSI Annual letter
  • TANF
  • MEDICAID card
  • Veterans DD214 form

You can also click on the Resource Tab in the menu to get a list of other low cost spay/neuter and vaccine options if you dont qualify for the above program. Thank you again for wanting to be a responsible pet owner and help save thousands of lives!
