Thank you for your interest in our many programs to help save animals lives and  to also give them a better quality of life while awaiting adoption at the shelter. A few hours or days of your time could help us accomplish our goals of promoting responsible pet ownership; education on how to reduce animal overpopulation; fostering programs for homeless, neglected, and abused animals; providing humane education to the public; and developing a healthy relationship between people and animals.

Please note: If you are interested in volunteering at the Cherokee County Animal Shelter, anyone 16 or younger must have adult supervision. CCHS does not own nor operate the shelter, so please contact them direct for volunteer opportunities at (770) 345-7270.
