Canine Adoption Process

The Process-

-Complete an online application that can be found on our website at www.sherryschsadoptions.com

-Adoption Counselor will conduct an interview.

-ID must be provided, such as Drivers License or Passport.

-Payment of adoption fee may be made by cash, instate check or credit card.

- If applicable, pet- sitting fees are cash only.

- If under age 25, a co-applicant may be required

- Cherokee Humane Society reserves the right for a home visit.

- You will take your dog home today!

- You will receive a post adoption follow up call.

Dogs are picked up from Cobb County Animal Control and brought up for adoptions at this location . If they are not adopted they have to be return to Cobb County Animal shelter.

Dogs are brought out on Sundays from 11-4
